Regular scheduled maintenance is key for specialist equipment. It keeps the equipment operating correctly, and ensures that the manufacturer's warrranty is protected. At Sterner, we offer Clients a maintenance agreement which takes the hassle out of the administration of plant and servicing. We take care of monitoring the plant, and arranging service visits at the appropriate time, carrying out the servicing and ensuring adequate spares and consumables are on site.

Sterner AquaTech originated as a supplier of equipment and consumables to the aquaculture industry. Together with our Norwegian sister company, Sterner AquaTech AS, we are one of the worlds biggest suppliers to this sector. We have also expanded our influence in many other sectors and our equipment can be found in municipal water treatment plants, swimming pools, domestic houses and research facilities.

Service and repair

As the authorised dealer for UK and Ireland for many of our products, we are also the approved service point for those products. Our staff and engineers have undergone training by the manufacturers in most of our equipment, with many of our team having been trained on site in the UK, and also at facilities in Europe.

We carry a large stock of spares for all our equipment, and with constant deliveries to us from our manufacturers, we can provide a fast reaction to most circumstances. With technicians based in Inverness, we cover the North of Scotland with a typical 4 hour emergency response, and the rest of the UK and Ireland with 24-48 hours, flights dependant.
