Overview

A media cartridge holds specific resins or crystals to ensure the water treatment process occurs thoroughly for the applicational need.

Resin beads are fabricated from an organic polymer substrate – often polystyrene sulfonate. They are small (0.5-1mm diameter) and typically porous, providing a high surface area. These beads are used to either exchange positive ions (cations) or negative ions (anions) in the resin bead exchange process. Crystals applications dissolve to dose the water and coat calcium and magnesium ions and pipework to prevent scale and corrosion.

SPECTRUM Softening Resin Cartridgee

Treating water using resin cartridges targets unwanted elements and removes or prevents them from causing process issues. Some elements found in water cause issues in the application process, whereas others will directly affect the water system itself.

Scaleb Inhibiting Crystals

FDA compliant hexametaphosphate cyrstals dissolve to dose water systems, coating calcium and magnesium ions and pipework to prevent scale and corrosion.

SPECTRUM 870 Premier Carbon Block Cartridge

SPECTRUM 870 range of activated carbon block cartridges treat water by removing the bad taste, odour and appearance associated with chemical and organic pollutants.

Contaminants such as chlorine, chloramine, herbicides, solvents and dyes are all treated along with the removal of organics through absorption. Chloramine reduction with excellent chlorine capacity, chemical and organic taste, odour and appearance removal.

Pentair EPM / EP Carbon Range

The Pentair EPM and EP range is aimed at applications where frequent change-out is required, typically batch processes and where a lower capacity cartridge suits regular routine change-outs.

Pentair Fibredyne CFBC Carbon Cartridge

Carbon cartridges made with Fibredyne™ technology are far more advanced than traditional carbon block cartridges. Benefits of higher flow rates, lower pressure drops, higher treatment capacity and less susceptibility to premature blocking from sediment make them the leading carbon cartridges on the market.

Pentair Fibredyne CFB-Plus Carbon Block

The Pentair CFB-Plus Cartridge uses advance Fiberdyne technology offers excellent flow to pressure drop ratio for a general purpose industrial carbon block.

SPECTRUM 870 Carbon Block SCB-S

The narrow diameter SCB-S with its secure 222 double O-ring connection has been designed for multi-round housings and specific use in beverage and drinking water applications where a more positive positive seal is required. Constructed from the same carbon formulation as the SCB, this microporous coconut carbon targets VOCs and THMs. Acid washed during the production process and low fine content gives excellent rinse-up times as well as regulating pH and taste. Designed to seal securely into the Standard (SFH) and Premier (PFH) Inox multi-round housings, available in 3 to 36 round configurations.

Pentair Fibredyne FloPlus Carbon Cartridge

The Pentair FloPlus cartridge uses advanced Fibredyne technology which creates a unique filter media for advancement in performance and effectiveness of the cartridge.

Pentair Fibredyne C-155 Electroplating Carbon Cartridge

The C-155 carbon cartridges made with Fibredyne™ technology are far more advanced than traditional carbon block cartridges. Benefits of higher flow rates, lower pressure drops, higher treatment capacity and less susceptibility to premature blocking from sediment make them the leading carbon cartridges on the market.

SPEPentair Fiberdyne CFB-PB Carbon Cartridge

The narrow diameter SCB-S with its secure 222 double O-ring connection has been designed for multi-round housings and specific use in beverage and drinking water applications where a more positive positive seal The Pentair CFB-PB cartridge uses advanced Fiberdyne technology which creates a unique filter media for advancement in performance and effectiveness of the cartridge.

Spectrum 870 Carbon Wrap Cartridge

Capable of removing sediment and other fine particulate throughout its media, this dual stage cartridge also works to reduce odours, remove water pigmentation and other volatile organic compounds.

SPECTRUM OilOut 99

Absorbing three times its own weight before changeout is required, the OilOut-99 range can remove up to 99% of hydrocarbons.

Principally designed for the efficient removal of dissolved and dispersed hydrocarbons from water, the SPECTRUM SRIF offers a compact solution to typically difficult and costly applications. Using a patented formula, the cartridges can absorb up to three times their own weight before exhaustion and with the engineered design of the cartridge, even when the cartridge is at capacity, no hydrocarbons are released from the media into the water supply downstream.
